NAD+ Peptide Rejuvenating Skincare Serum For Fine Line Reduction Launched

by Hello Gorgeous Skincare on Sep 11 2026
Hello Gorgeous Skincare has launched the NAD+ Cellular Booster, a topical formulation designed to reverse visible aging by restoring NAD+ levels in skin cells. The serum is intended for use after cleansing and toning, and will join the company's additional product offerings to form a complete regimen addressing fine lines and wrinkles.More information is available at https://hellogorgeous.com/collections/anti-aging-serums-1/products/nad-cellular-boosterNAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme essential for cellular energy production, DNA repair, and the activation of proteins often called "longevity enzymes" that regulate metabolic activities, stress responses, and cellular lifespan. NAD+ may also help maintain healthier stem cell function by supporting cellular metabolism and repair pathways, making it an important component of any anti-aging skincare routine.Hello Gorgeous Skincare's complete formulation strategy combines multiple active ingredients that work together to address various aging concerns. For example, RejuveNAD™ serves as the NAD+ booster, while Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2 provides lifting and firming benefits by improving skin elasticity and reducing sagging. Meanwhile, niacinamide, a form of vitamin B3 and a precursor to NAD+, has been shown in clinical trials to significantly reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin elasticity, and reduce hyperpigmentation. The launch announcement goes on to highlight the company's Hyaluronic Matrix, composed of four types of sodium hyaluronate, which delivers hydration and increases cellular moisture, improving surface smoothness. Finally, the formulation uses an organic aloe vera base rather than water, which encourages penetration and collagen activation while providing anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. This product complements the effects of the company's Phyto-Tox Serum, Botox In A Bottle, a skincare product featuring Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 alongside a variety of botanical ingredients. More specifically, the formula includes Acmella Oleracea, also known as the "buzz button plant", which contains compounds that naturally mimic the effects of Botox by relaxing facial muscles. The NAD+ Cellular Booster aligns with the company's science-backed approach to anti-aging skincare, one rooted in cellular longevity research that targets the biological mechanisms underlying visible aging rather than merely masking symptoms. Those interested in reading more about NAD+, or about the additional products in the Hello Gorgeous Skincare catalog, should visit the company's website. For more details, visit https://hellogorgeous.com/collections/anti-aging-serums-1/products/phyto-tox-serum-botox-in-a-bottle?variant=928195815Company: Hello Gorgeous Skincare City: Fairview Address: 111 Fountain Court Website: https://hellogorgeous.com/ Phone: +1 972 549 4249 Email: helen@hellogorgeous.com>

Skincare Routine For Women Over 40: Peptides, NAD+ For Wrinkle Reduction

by Hello Gorgeous Skincare on Sep 11 2026
Key Takeaways NAD+ is a coenzyme found in every cell that powers energy production, DNA repair, and collagen synthesis - and its levels drop by roughly 50% by midlife. Direct NAD+ cannot easily penetrate skin cells, so innovative delivery systems like RejuveNAD™ (derived from sunflower sprouts) are used to naturally boost NAD+ production inside the skin. Peptides like Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2 send direct signals to skin cells to restore firmness and elasticity - exactly the kind of collagen communication that slows down after 40. Layering NAD+-boosting actives with peptides, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide creates a compounding effect that addresses multiple aging hallmarks at once. Read on to understand why NAD+ restoration may be the most overlooked step in a mature skincare routine - and how to build one that actually works. Your Skin's Energy Crisis Starts at 40Skin does not age only on the surface. Long before a wrinkle becomes visible, something quieter is happening at the cellular level: the skin is running low on energy. Cells that were once efficient at repairing UV damage, regenerating collagen, and maintaining moisture start falling behind. The reason? A critical coenzyme called NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is steadily disappearing.NAD+ is present in every living cell and plays a central role in converting nutrients into usable energy, repairing damaged DNA, and activating proteins that keep cells healthy. By the time most women reach their 40s, NAD+ levels have declined by as much as 50% compared to young adulthood. That decline does not stay invisible for long. The skin becomes duller, fine lines deepen, and the kind of overnight repair that used to happen effortlessly slows considerably.Addressing this requires going beyond surface-level hydration. Hello Gorgeous Skincare has built their anti-aging serum formulas around this principle - targeting cellular function, not just visible symptoms, with ingredients that work at the source of aging. What NAD+ Actually Does Inside Skin CellsThink of NAD+ as the spark plug of the cell. Without it, essential processes stall. With it, the skin has the fuel needed to repair, renew, and defend itself. NAD+ participates in hundreds of biochemical reactions simultaneously, making it one of the most active molecules in the body. Two of its most critical roles in skin health: it powers mitochondria - the energy-generating structures inside each cell - and it activates a family of proteins called sirtuins, sometimes called longevity enzymes. Sirtuins regulate inflammation, stress responses, and overall cellular metabolism. When NAD+ is abundant, sirtuins are active and the skin's repair machinery runs efficiently. When NAD+ drops, that machinery slows. The 50% Decline Nobody Talks AboutNAD+ levels peak in early adulthood and then begin a slow, steady decline. By midlife, levels can be approximately 50% lower than they were in youth. Less NAD+ means slower DNA repair, less efficient collagen production, and reduced capacity to clear out damaged or dysfunctional cells. Every visible sign of aging - the dullness, the sagging, the lines - has a cellular story behind it, and NAD+ depletion is a major chapter.5 Aging Hallmarks NAD+ TargetsResearch identifies five core aging processes that NAD+ directly influences in skin cells: DNA Damage - Daily exposure to UV rays and pollution damages DNA inside skin cells. NAD+ fuels enzymes called PARPs that help repair that damage. Fewer active PARPs means more accumulated damage, leading to fine lines, rough texture, and age spots. Cellular Senescence - Some damaged cells stop functioning but refuse to die, releasing inflammatory signals that harm neighboring healthy cells. Higher NAD+ levels may support healthier cellular turnover and reduce this effect. Mitochondrial Dysfunction - When mitochondria produce less ATP, everything slows: collagen production, healing, renewal. NAD+ is essential to keeping this energy output running. Chronic Inflammation - Low-grade, persistent inflammation accelerates collagen breakdown and worsens wrinkles. NAD+ activates sirtuins that help regulate this inflammatory state. Stem Cell Exhaustion - Skin stem cells that renew the surface layer become less active with age. By supporting metabolic and repair pathways, NAD+ may help preserve their function longer. The Problem With Direct AbsorptionNAD+ cannot simply be added to a cream and applied. The molecule is both too large and chemically unstable to cross the cell membrane effectively through topical application alone. It breaks down before it can do its job. This has been one of the central formulation challenges in bringing NAD+ science into skincare. The practical solution is to use the skin's own biochemical pathways - delivering precursor molecules or plant-based activators that encourage the skin to produce more NAD+ from within.Sunflower Sprout Extract Encourages Direct ProductionThis is the mechanism behind RejuveNAD™, a patented ingredient developed by Mibelle Biochemistry and derived from sunflower sprout extract. Rather than trying to deliver NAD+ through the skin barrier, RejuveNAD™ works by stimulating the skin's internal NAD+ biosynthesis pathways. Clinical work with the ingredient has shown it can reduce age spots and visibly lift, smooth, and rejuvenate the skin. Formulas built around RejuveNAD™ also help reduce DNA damage and epigenetic alterations - two of the deeper drivers of how skin ages over time.Peptides: The Collagen Signal Your Skin Stopped SendingPeptides are short chains of amino acids that act as biological messengers. The skin produces them naturally to signal collagen-producing cells - called fibroblasts - to do their job. As estrogen declines after 40 and overall cellular communication slows, those signals become weaker. Collagen production drops. Skin loses its bounce.Topical peptides step in as a replacement signal. They do not physically add collagen to the skin; instead, they tell the skin to make its own. This is a fundamentally different approach from surface-level moisturizing, and peptide-based formulas tend to show results that compound over time rather than washing off with the next cleanse. What Acetyl Tetrapeptide-2 Does for FirmnessAcetyl Tetrapeptide-2 is a lifting and firming peptide specifically studied for its role in improving skin elasticity. It works by supporting the extracellular matrix - the structural scaffold beneath the skin's surface - which helps skin appear more taut and resilient. For women experiencing sagging along the jawline or increasing laxity in the cheek area, this peptide targets the problem at the structural level rather than masking it.The Ingredients That Amplify NAD+ ResultsNAD+ restoration and peptide signaling perform significantly better when the surrounding formula creates the right environment for cellular activity. Hydration, antioxidant defense, and supporting actives all play a role in how well these key ingredients perform.Niacinamide (vitamin B3) functions as a direct precursor to NAD+ in skin cells. Including it in a NAD+-focused formula creates a compounding effect.Antioxidants like Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (a stable form of vitamin C) and Green Tea Extract defend the skin against free radical damage that would otherwise accelerate the very processes NAD+ is working to repair. How to Layer This Into Your Daily RoutineKnowing what ingredients do is only half the equation - application order matters too. Serums absorb most efficiently when applied to clean, toned skin before heavier creams or SPF. For a NAD+-focused routine: Cleanse and tone first - prep the skin for absorption in the morning. Apply Phyto-tox Serum - if layering multiple serums, apply this one first to relax facial surface tension and reduce fine lines. Follow with a day moisturizer - to seal in actives and maintain barrier function. Before Bedtime - cleanse and tone to prepare skin for absorption. Apply NAD+ Cellular Booster - for deep cellular rejuvenation and repair. Follow with night cream - to seal in actives and relax knowing you are giving your skin the ingredients it needs to turn back the signs of aging. Consistency matters with cellular-level ingredients. NAD+ restoration and collagen signaling are processes that build over weeks, not days. The visible results - firmer texture, reduced lines, improved radiance - tend to compound with continued use.Why NAD+ Restoration Is a Smart Priority After 40Most skincare conversations focus on what is happening on the surface. NAD+ science shifts that focus to where aging actually begins - inside the cell. When the cellular energy system is running low, topical moisturizing alone cannot fully compensate. Replenishing NAD+ through smart ingredient technology means giving the skin's own repair and renewal systems what they need to function closer to their youthful capacity. For women over 40, this cellular-first approach is a logical response to what the science shows is actually happening beneath the skin's surface. Addressing the 50% NAD+ decline, reinforcing collagen signaling with targeted peptides, and building out the formula with synergistic actives creates a routine that works with the skin's biology rather than against it.Company: Hello Gorgeous Skincare City: Fairview Address: 111 Fountain Court Website: https://hellogorgeous.com/ Phone: +1 972 549 4249 Email: helen@hellogorgeous.com>

What is the difference between Peptides and Stem Cells?

by Eric Gibson on Jul 11 2026
Here's a breakdown of how Peptides and Stem Cells improve our skin's functionality.
Why isn’t a moisturizer enough?

Age-Defying Info

Why isn’t a moisturizer enough?

by Helen Gibson-Nicholas on Mar 10 2025
Why do you need to add anti-aging serums to your skincare routine? Why isn’t a moisturizer enough? I’m so glad you asked. Moisturizers and night creams do contain an array of ingredients that improve skin condition, but they also contain traditional thickeners and emollients. These are necessary to get that creamy texture. Creams can also contain sunscreens.  All this takes up valuable ‘room’ in the product that serums use to pack in the latest superstar ingredients discovered to fight the ‘war on aging.’  Anti-aging serums won’t replace your day or night creams. Think of them as bonus ingredients designed to target specific problems. The longer you use them, the better your skin gets! Think layers. Layering serums under your moisturizer is like wearing a bra and camisole under your blouse. You need them all to get the perfect look. Using serums will also get you the perfect look!  Think ‘beauty in a bottle.’ These beauties will help you see the signs of aging fade, and your skin will look younger, firmer, healthier, brighter- and did I say younger, oops I did. That’s why we created specific serums with incredible ingredients targeting the signs of aging: DROOPY, SPLOTCHY, THINNING SKIN Everyone needs our Collagen C Complex. It contains Soluble Collagen, which easily penetrates the skin with amino acids that help firm and strengthen skin tissues. We use a more stable form of C called Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, which does not oxidize and go bad in a few months like the old C serums. SAP is a powerful antioxidant that fights hyperpigmentation and brightens the skin. Swiss Apple extract stimulates new cell growth to prevent skin thinning. Along with Hyaluronic Acid, Sinorhizobium Melilote Ferment adds the icing on the cake. This fabulous ingredient not only increases hydration, but it also stimulates elastin synthesis! This is a must-have for aging skin and is probably why I don’t have wrinkly skin with age spots. DULL, WRINKLING AGING SKIN Skin will dramatically improve with our new Probiotic Stem Cell Serum. Lactococcus Ferment Lysate increases essential proteins and enzymes in the skin, cell cohesion improves, and skin renewal is accelerated. New skin cells are generated with two incredible stem cell actives. The Argan Tree has been around since the dinosaurs roamed the earth because they are resistant to death, and the Swiss Apple Uttwiler Spatlauder also contains long-living cells. One hundred percent of participants saw a significant reduction in wrinkle depth. In vitro tests showed a delay in cellular death, improved DNA repair, and protection from oxidative stress. Believe me, this is a good one to add under your night cream.  CROWS FEET, UNDER EYE WRINKLES, CREPY EYELIDS Need our Alpha Lipoic A&E Oil? Oil glands around the eyes begin to diminish at puberty. At 30, oil production is slowing, and the signs of aging are beginning to be seen. By 50, the skin's fat layer thins, limiting its ability to repair itself, and wrinkles become obvious as skin collapses due to lack of elastin and collagen. I created this lipid serum with Squalane (which comes from olives) as the base, as your skin should be around 25% Squalane. This is the lipid or oil in the skin that keeps it supple and flexible. Squalane is a potent antioxidant to also quench free radicals from damaging skin cells so that they do not function properly!!  I also added more antioxidants to prevent cellular aging like Alpha Lipoic Acid, A, E, and D. Believe me, this can save that delicate tissue around the eyes and keep them young for decades.  EYE BAGS AND DARK CIRCLES Need Cucumber Eye Relief? I have done all the work for you by adding anti-inflammatory and astringent botanicals like cucumber, eyebright, and chamomile into a base of 200% Aloe Vera to create a light serum to place under your eye in the morning to reduce puffiness and swelling. I’ve also added a new tetrapeptide, Eyeseryl, which dramatically reduces edema around the eyes by improving blood circulation and lymphatic flow. Banana Leaf, ginseng, marshmallow root, fennel, coltsfoot, bladderwrack, and other exotic extracts correct fluid retention in facial areas and dramatically reduce the degradation of collagen. A whopping 75% of the volunteers who tested this ingredient saw improvement in only 15 days. This fabulous serum reduces puffiness, improves skin elasticity, enhances skin texture and smoothness, and lightens under-eye darkness. I love this stuff and you will too!!!! Simply apply a thick layer of serum under your eye and on eyelids (if needed) and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse and apply Alpha Lipoic A&E Oil. SHRINKING LIPS Need our Peptide Lip Plumper? Unfortunately, as we age, our lips shrink! If you don’t want injections, try our new lip plumper. Palmitoyl Oligopeptide stimulates collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis to transform those shrinking lips. Volunteers found their lip volume improved 40%, hydration improved up to 60%, and vertical folds from dehydration minimized 29%. Natural peptides from the Portulaca Pilosa Extract combined with Palmitoyl Tripeptide 38 mimic hyaluronic injections by doubling its synthesis level and strongly stimulate the synthesis of matrix and dermal-epidermal junction molecules. What does this mean? Improved lip volume! Coconut oil, Sodium PCA, and Soluble Collagen also rescue your lips and reduce the wrinkles in the skin around the lips. Simply rub on the lips and the skin around the lips every morning and night! SUN DAMAGED AND AGING SKIN Needs our Q10 Booster. As we age, our ability to make Coenzyme Q10, also known as Ubiquinone, diminishes. Q10 is imperative for proper cell functioning and cellular development. Topical Q10 is a free radical scavenger because it is a potent antioxidant that defends cellular integrity. Probably most importantly, it helps to protect skin from DNA damage and repairs skin cells damaged by UV exposure, which are major contributors to skin aging. It penetrates the skin easily, especially with our famous Aloe Vera Base, and encourages the development of collagen and elastin, helping to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and sagging. Along with Q10, I have added MSM, which is a potent anti-inflammatory, and Grape Seed Extract, Vitamins A and E, which are antioxidants. Copper, Hyaluronic Acid, and Linolenic Acid provide more aid in reversing the damage to photo-aged skin. You will love this one! BOTOX ALTERNATIVE Is our Phyto-Tox Serum. If you don’t want to get Botox injections, you should get this great serum. Even if you do get them, this can help stretch the time between them. Why? I’ve added a great hexapeptide-8, Argireline, that inhibits cellular signals relaxing the skin surface. The result is reduced depth of wrinkles caused by constriction of muscles of facial expression, thereby preventing skin aging by repeated facial movements. Clinical studies show a 27% reduction of eye wrinkles in 30 days! I also found an extract from South America and Africa known as Acmella Oleracea that has a smoothing effect without injections. After only one day, 75% noticed these rapid results. Use during the day, under your moisturizer on your forehead, crow's feet, and around the mouth area. DEHYDRATED, SHRIVELED, SCALY, WRINKLED SKIN As we age, we really need Hyaluronic Booster with CBD! Hyaluronic Acid, also known as HA, is the fluid inside cells that provides a moisture-like lubricant in skin and joints. It is a humectant, the only biological (naturally occurring) substance that can attract and bind up to a 1000 times its weight in water. HA reduces wrinkle volume, improves elasticity, increases smoothness, reduces scaliness, and protects fibroblasts (a type of biological cell that synthesizes the extracellular matrix and collagen, which produces the structural framework). I also added 300mg per bottle of full-spectrum, water-soluble CBD. It is rich in Vitamins A, C, and E, which block free radical damage that causes age spots, collagen collapse, and uneven skin texture. Cannabinoids are chemical messengers that activate a class of cell membrane receptors located throughout the body. These chemical messengers serve a myriad of purposes, especially anti-inflammation, which slows down cellular damage and stimulates collagen renewal. Aging begins at the cellular level.
Why do I need to Exfoliate?

Why do I need to Exfoliate?

by Helen Gibson-Nicholas on Mar 01 2025
OK! No one is looking forward to death, but there is something that you do want to die because it is programmed that way. In order to have HEALTHY, YOUTHFUL-LOOKING SKIN, dermal cells must be born, move their way up to the epidermis, die, and slough off. The body content of your post goes here. To edit this text, click on it and delete this default text and start typing your own or paste your own from a different source. A healthy epidermis (surface skin cells) undergoes remodeling about once a month until you get older and the process slows down. Unfortunately, as you age, those old skin cells like to "hang" around! When new cells move their way to the surface, die, and slough off: this is called desquamation. When I began my journey into the beauty business over 30 years ago, squam cells were the new cells born in the dermis, but today we refer to them as stem cells. Your mission, if you choose to do it, is to remove the surface dead skin so new cells can move upward and take their rightful place on your face!! This is not impossible if you know what to do! As I said earlier, as you age, the dead skin likes to hang around! Not only does this hinder new cell development, making the skin texture look dry and rough, but it also prevents nutrients from reaching the dermis where all the ‘stem cell’ action should be occurring! If you can afford it, you can have your face resurfaced with lasers, dermabrasion, and deep peels performed by your favorite plastic surgeon or dermatologist. Or you can focus on regular "at home" strategies that might be more affordable and, with consistency, work just as well without permanently thinning the epidermis. Masks, scrubs, Alpha and Beta Acid Serums (AHA’s and BHA’s), light peels, and microdermabrasion really do work. It’s all about daily, weekly, and monthly EXFOLIATION!! Remember Marie Antoinette and her milk baths, raw sugar cane rituals by Polynesian women, red wine skin regimens of the English aristocracy, or even grandma’s advice about rubbing a lemon on your elbows and knees? This is nothing new; today it’s just wrapped up into prettier packaging. I want to focus on Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids and Enzyme Exfoliates. Lactic acid comes from milk, tartaric acid from grapes, citric acid from lemons, malic acid from apples, and glycolic acid from sugar cane, and are known as AHA’s. Salicylic acid comes from the bark of a willow tree and is a BHA. These acids dissolve the glue between the cells that keep HOLDING ON too long. As skin cells are exfoliated and leave the skin’s surface, new cells are triggered to be born to take their place. Papain, bromelain, and other exfoliating enzymes come from pineapple, papaya, pumpkin, mushrooms, grapefruit, green tea, and lemon. These enzymes gently dissolve dead skin cells and are more tolerated for sensitive skin types. HELLO GORGEOUS, TO THE RESCUE for this mission impossible home care solutions to exfoliate and renew your skin’s surface. TRIPLE ACTION YOUTH SERUM – A strong blend of glycolic and lactic acid to slough surface debris and hyaluronic acid for plumping and hydrating. Apply 1 or 2 coats over the face and neck area and leave on overnight, 1 to 2 nights in place of PM cream, or apply for a couple of hours in the morning, then exfoliate with Honey Jojoba Scrub, followed by serums and AM cream. ALPHA BETA ACID SERUM - Combines glycolic and salicylic acids along with hyaluronic acid for superb exfoliation and renewal. Apply two coats all over the face and neck for 1 to 2 hours, then exfoliate with the Honey Jojoba Scrub. Follow with serums and AM or PM creams. PUMPKIN ENZYME EXFOLIATOR – An incredible blend of enzymes that include all of the above-mentioned, to remove dead skin gently to promote skin renewal. Use daily to enhance exfoliation with our Honey Jojoba Scrub or use in place of your PM cream one night a week. HONEY JOJOBA SCRUB – Honey, aloe, and dissolving jojoba beads make this a safe but effective daily exfoliator. Each morning remove dead skin cells for a smoother skin’s surface. Apply serums and moisturizer, then makeup if needed. The skin cells in the epidermis are programmed to die, but sometimes need a little help to be removed. When you are young, your skin’s renewal cycle is around 28 days, usually without a hitch. As you age, 10 to 20 days are added to that cycle, and they just want to stay!!!
